Story: Airbnb's mission is to connect people to unique travel experiences in over 190 countries. The oPhone is a new device that allows users to message aromas. What if these two partnered to use a new technology to change how people sense travel?
Airbnb's home page will feature search by scent to expose people to more obscure destinations.
Now you can explore feature destinations via a series of short scented-powered videos.
ScENT TO POLL
Airbnb proudly hosts in over 190 different countries. On Facebook, we will launch a promotional video to invite our audience from all over the world to share what aromas represent their country.
THE Pop-up Experience
In order to familiarize the public with the oPhone, we will host pop-up stations across major cities where the public can come test the Scent To experience. We will challenge select individuals to identify the correct country given a series of scents. If guessed correctly, then they will win a discounted Airbnb voucher to that select destination.
